Fatou Bensouda

For his dedication and work in advancing the rule of law and his contribution to peace. Bensouda is a lawyer and former official of the Gambian Government, an expert in international criminal law. She previously worked as a legal advisor and trial attorney at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

The award was presented in Barcelona.
